As an immigrant herself, Mounia brings a deeply personal connection to immigration law. She migrated from Morocco to Massachusetts at the age of 8 with her parents and younger sister. This personal journey through the immigration process allows her to empathize with her clients, providing them with thorough and prompt advice delivered with compassion and professionalism.

Mounia's academic credentials are impressive. She graduated from Stonehill College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science, complemented by a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. She earned her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law and further enhanced her technical expertise with a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Roger Williams University Graduate School.

Mounia's legal career is marked by diverse and extensive experience. She began as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Sohail Mohammed in the Superior Court of New Jersey's Criminal Division, where she prepared legal memoranda, assisted with trial preparation, and managed court dockets. Her subsequent roles included counsel at Wolffers Cohen & Edderai LLP, where she advised businesses and investors on a wide range of immigration matters, including both immigrant visas such as EB-1 and non-immigrant visas such as E-2s.

At Mounia Elarar Law, LLC, she focuses on various immigration matters, including family-based petitions, employment-based petitions, applications for permanent residence, consular processing, and naturalization.
