Mounia Elarar, Esq. is the founding and principal attorney of Elarar Law, a law firm established in 2020 with practice areas focusing on business, immigration, and family law. She is licensed to practice law in the states of New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts.
Mounia Elarar was born in Morocco and raised in Revere, Massachusetts. She graduated from Stonehill College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science and a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. She earned her Juris Doctor and Masters of Science in Cybersecurity from Roger Williams University, School of Law and Graduate School.
Prior to attending law school, Mounia interned for Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC), where she prepared applications for nonimmigrant visas, change of status or extension of status, and legal permanent residence. During law school, Mounia was a coverage law clerk at Liberty Mutual Insurance, analyzing policy coverage issues, preparing coverage opinions and researching and drafting legal memoranda in insurance law and general corporate law. During her last semester of law school, Mounia externed for the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), at the Office of Chief Counsel in the Office of National Security Intelligence (ONSI).
Upon graduating from law school, Mounia clerked for the Honorable Sohail Mohammed, Judge of Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division.
Currently, Mounia counsels clients regarding general corporate matters as well as provides legal services in the areas of immigration and family law.
