ATTORNEY

Mounia Elarar was born in Morocco and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Mounia is the founding member of Mounia Elarar Law, LLC which is located in Paterson, NJ. She focuses on immigration law, business law, criminal law, real estate, and family law.

Mounia graduated from Stonehill College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science and a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. She earned her Juris Doctor and Masters of Science in Cybersecurity from Roger Williams University, School of Law and Graduate School.

Prior to attending law school, Mounia interned for Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC), where she prepared applications for nonimmigrant visas, change of status or extension of status, and legal permanent residence. During law school, Mounia was a coverage law clerk at Liberty Mutual Insurance, analyzing policy coverage issues, preparing coverage opinions and researching and drafting legal memoranda in insurance law and general corporate law. During her last semester of law school, Mounia externed for the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), at the Office of Chief Counsel in the Office of National Security Intelligence (ONSI).

 

Upon graduating from law school, Mounia clerked for the Honorable Sohail Mohammed, Judge of Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division.

 

Following her clerkship, Mounia founded Mounia Elarar Law, LLC in 2020. Mounia is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and New Jersey.
